MultiChoice Group, which operates DStv and Showmax, today announced its biggest holiday offer ever. This deal includes free package upgrades, new seasonal channels, and discounted equipment. The campaign, launched after the company’s recent takeover by Groupe Canal Plus, shows a new focus on aggressive growth and customer value.

The main promotion is called “Thol iUpsize”. It gives subscribers a free upgrade to a higher DStv package until December 31, 2025. DStv Access and Family subscribers will automatically get the Compact package. Compact and Compact Plus subscribers will get the full Premium channel lineup. All at no extra cost.

To make holiday viewing special, MultiChoice has launched four new temporary channels. These are The Holiday Channel for festive and family content, DStv 30 for nostalgic shows, the returning movie channel fliekNET, and SuperSport AFCON 2025 for dedicated football coverage of the African tournament.

MultiChoice is also making it easier and cheaper for new customers to join. The popular Model 10S HD decoder is now heavily discounted. The DStv online store has been relaunched with a simpler ordering process and free delivery.
